services to the community. The
Adoption Homestudy Services Plus
program fully reflects the JFS
mission as we work to promote permanent, safe, and loving families
for children, while supporting couples and individuals who are
seeking to adopt.
For prospective families residing in

can provide:

adoptive families
For families residing in Delaware,
Pennsylvania and Maryland,
Adoption Homestudy Services Plus offers:

Pre-adoption consultations

Post-adoption counseling to
adoptive parents, birth family members, and adopted persons

Support Groups
-
Referrals to adoption support
organizations and other community services
The consultation and counseling services are available on a
sliding-fee scale, and may be eligible for payment through private
insurance. Our licensed professional
staff has extensive experience working with adoptive families and
birth families in both international and domestic adoptions.
JFS maintains a Partner
Agreement with Children’s Home Society & Family Services (CHSFS)
to provide
international
adoptive placements through CHSFS. CHSFS currently has
active programs in Russia, Ukraine, Ethiopia, and China
in
addition to seven other countries. For more information about
