Case Manager, RISE
Angela is a Case Manager for JFS’ Refugee Integration Support Effort (RISE), returning to the organization professionally after having previously volunteered with the program. Angela works hard to ensure she understands what others need and she is eager to bring her passion for people from all cultures and her commitment to operations and strategic excellence to serving RISE.
A recent graduate in International Relations with a minor in Asian studies from the University of Delaware, Angela worked as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant and worked for Congresswoman Lisa Blunt-Rochester. She also was a Gilman Scholar and McNair Scholar, where she conducted in-depth research on Asian economic agreements. During her time at UD, Angela also worked under the Department of Student Diversity and Inclusion, helping to develop the Social Justice Peer Educators program and recommend better practices.
A fluent speaker of Mandarin, Angela has played piano for 14 years and, in her free time, enjoys cooking, running, and painting (but not all at the same time).
