YES, JFS Delaware accepts most commercial insurance policies, including Medicaid & Medicare, and will also honor an EAP.
Every insurance plan is different – we can verify coverage and share that information with you (the client) so you understand what your financial responsibility may be. If there are financial circumstances which impact your ability to pay for the service you are receiving, please call 302-478-9411 to speak with our Billing Department about a payment plan or other options. JFS offers sliding scale fees for those without insurance.
At Jewish Family Services of Delaware (JFS), protecting your privacy and confidentiality is very important to us. We do not share that you have used our services, the nature of your relationship with us, or any of your Protected Health Information (PHI) with anyone outside our agency without your written consent, except when the law allows or requires it.
While not required by law, JFS policy is to obtain written permission for sending you JFS-related communications by text or email. Your choice to opt in to text and email messages from us—and your consent to receive those messages—will not be shared with any third parties.

YES, after 120 years of in-person care – in our offices, clients’ homes, schools and community spaces – JFS Delaware has made the transition to provide our counseling and case management services remotely as well. Individualizing treatment approach is an important part of the therapeutic process – one which JFS therapists and case managers have always prioritized – and telehealth is perfectly suited to adapt to each person’s unique needs.
