Volunteer activities are individually assigned based on a volunteer’s unique skills, interests, and availability

  • Make daily/weekly friendly phone calls
  • Provide transportation to appointments
  • Assist with grocery shopping, light cleaning, or yardwork
  • Help with bill-paying or use of electronics
  • Provide companionship
  • Help prepare meals or baked goods
  • Lead classes and workshops

Volunteers have access to an online scheduling system, making the process of finding and signing up for volunteer activities easier than ever!

Volunteers are paramount to creating a caring, friendly community of support for older adults in Brandywine Village Network.

Applicant Requirements

All volunteers must pass a criminal background check prior to assisting members.

Volunteers must also provide their own transportation to and from volunteer activities.
