At the All-Staff Kickoff on March 6, we will be giving out a Mensch Award to a deserving staff member! What is a mensch? The word means “person” in Yiddish, the language once dominant among Jews in central and eastern Europe. A mensch can be someone from any religious background or gender that can be relied on; someone who always acts with integrity, honor, and humility; and someone who is always kind and considerate.

For the Mensch Award, we would like you to nominate a staff member who embodies the spirit of JFS and our values. Click here to view our values.
