PLAY THERAPY

Young Clients Addressing Big Challenges

Play therapy is a method through which specially trained therapists help children express what they find troubling and provide a safe space to heal. Put simply, Play Therapists use play—using puppets and miniature figurines, books and storytelling, arts & crafts, and other tools and activities—to help their young clients more effectively identify, communicate, and resolve their challenges.

  • About Play Therapy

Play therapy allows children to deal with difficult topics in a comfortable and familiar way, without facing them head on. This approach to care for young clients is proven to be effective in addressing a wide variety of social, emotional, behavioral, and learning problems; it can help children become more responsible for their behaviors, develop new problem-solving capabilities, cultivate empathy and respect for others and themselves, and much more.
